“Tripartite United Borneo Alliance Agreed in Sabah”

“The local opposition in Sabah will be a tripartite coalition comprising STAR, USNO and SAPP under the United Borneo Alliance (UBA) and we will now discuss with the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) to form a united opposition to oust the current Umno/BN Governments” announced Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, STAR Sabah Chairman.

At the second meeting of UBA, SAPP agreed to cooperate within the UBA to stand united to champion the rights of Sabah and Sabahans.  The meeting was chaired by former State Secretary, Tan Sri Simon Sipaun, who advised the parties to stand united and look after the interests of Sabah and its people.

“Although other local parties were invited and did not turn up, we urge the other local parties to re-consider and stand united under the United Borneo Alliance if they are sincere and serious in wanting to fight for the rights and autonomy of Sabah” added Dr. Jeffrey.

Working committees comprising of representatives of the coalition partners will be looking into formulating a common manifesto as well as the distribution of seats and for discussion with PR to ensure a 1 to 1 contest in the forthcoming general elections.

With the UBA coalition in Sabah, the fight for the rights and autonomy of Sabah has advanced another important step towards facing and toppling the current state and federal governments which have failed to safeguard Sabah’s rights and autonomy.

  2. SYABAS UBF!

CONGRATULATIONS STAR SAPP & USNO - THIS IS THE RIGHT MOVE FOR SABAH!

Recently in Wikisabah News some one raised the issue of opposition parties uniting to get rid of Sabah as a first step to self-rule.It is like a wish come true!

This united front brings new hope to Sabah politics! It is what the people want. The politicians have got it right!

Every opposition party is more or less championing the same issues affecting the well being and very existence of Sabah- such as mass poverty and failure of UMNO promises for development linked to looting of oil and gas wealth, disenfranchisement of Sabahans with illegals, Malayanization replacing Borneonization and related issues, breaches of the Malaysia Agreement and 20 Point Agreement.

The last 48 years have demonstrated that the people of Sabah have really lost their inalienable right to self-determination and independence. This has been replaced by the sham "independence in Malaysia".

There has been a gathering force of Sabah opinion to get rid of the UMNO Malayan colonialists forever from the shore of Sabah.

All these issues have been raised by STAR SAPP and the UBF in recent times and many Sabahans are very aware of such issues.

So it must be obvious to the enlightened politicians that the only way to go about it to unite and fight as one!

This is one happy writer who is cheering loudly & says

    "Hidup UBF" "Hidup Sabah"

All patriotic Sabahans unite to throw out UMNO colonialists!

Next is UBA and PR talk hopefully no business of 2:1 in coming PRU.

Must ABU concept and need more effort to win over other sincere leaders for Sabah future.

What so special at 81 still can't put aside personal pride to forgo and forgive or prove worthiness as sabahan son of Land Below The Wind?Wake up and do not regret or let future young believe you are a crook then.

Consider a hand shake and smile is more worthy than million right?Choice is yours for your buying of limiting times with age, agree?

  4. if you can pull this out (unifying the local parties in Sabah) I bet, we (Sabah) will be free from the colonialism if peninsular .. Anyways, we don't want them. In fact, we hate them !

  6. Or maybe PKR should focus on Peninsula states and leave Sabah to local Sabahan parties?

    1. AS IF they willing to do so. They are so many opportunists, they definitely want to contest in the 13th GE.

  12. UBA tidak akan wujud. Pembangkang hanya manis di mulut sja tapi mrmpunyai perjuangan yang bersifar peribadi. hanya kepentingan peribadi saja.
