MACC questions Bung over case involving Felcra

KUALA LUMPUR - Kinabatangan MP Bung Mokhtar Radin was questioned yesterday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as part of an investigation involving Felcra Berhad.

National newspaper New Straits Times reported that the Felcra chairman had his statement recorded under the MACC Act 2009 at the agency’s headquarters in Putrajaya.

“His statement was taken at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya between 10am and 3pm,” the MACC was quoted as saying.

It was also learnt that the Sabahan lawmaker’s wife also had been called in by the commission two weeks ago, the local daily added.

Details on the investigation that is involving Bung however was not specified.

This comes a few days after the MACC arrested three officers including a ‘Datuk Seri’ for alleged corruption and money laundering.
